thanks for the link and sense those screenies illustrate it so well, is it me or do others dislike the name of the ocean/passage written <i>on the water</i>? <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/keith.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":keith" border="0" alt="keith.gif" /> looks like a damn chaulkboard or some advertising pulled behind a `bi-plane` or something. we're pirates damn it! we don't need no stinkin' road signs!

...i don't like 'em and maybe we can toggle them off. anyone want to join my mutiny? <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/pirate3.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p2" border="0" alt="pirate3.gif" />:

I think the "signs" only apper when ( and if) you have navigator on board. Let someone corect me if im wrong (not sure),

I think you're right. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/cool.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="8)" border="0" alt="cool.gif" />

i put this is in the Graphics Changes thread but i'll say it here too. if you don't want to see the text <i>on</i> the sea you don't hire a navigator, BUT what do you loose by not having one? line of sight? distance sighting? increased chance of DUI? i would think the navigator would give you something besides turning on that text, so i wonder what else you might lose if you don't bring him on board?
