That could work <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> You can ship a certain amount of men out, BUT you have to fight their leader and his crew with your remaining crew. Thus killing or throwing out 5 of your 100 crew would be easy compared to getting rid of 70 out of 90 of your crew. Although it doesnt work like that, and I think is probably highly unlikely to <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
I think the best way to kill crew really is attack a city <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> If your desperate just march them all straight at the gate without firing, it will be a masacre but if your lucky one might even make it and get you some financial reward for your "sacrifice" <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

The main problem with the game is not the game, but the players. While the game has "flaws" compared to our Akella games, if you compare it to the old Pirates! game in the late 80s and early 90s to the one now, it is a overwhelming improvement. For this game, you need to see the big picture to enjoy it. If you pick it apart, you aren't going to enjoy it. When you have repetetive stuff like film and characters, remember that that character or film represents something;it is like a symbol I can best describe it. But for those who have trouble with details, I suggest you wait after New Years until the price comes down to $20 to $40 so it doesn't feel like a rip off, because it will feel like a rip off if you are looking for those details, and it cost $50 for the game.

Go, Mihail!!! <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/onya.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":onya" border="0" alt="onya.gif" />

To get rid of crew, just divide the plunder! <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="icon_wink.gif" />

I FINALLY got to load up and actually PLAY the release version of SMP! (have had it since the release, but no time!), and I have to say, before ANYTHING ELSE I notice that the graphics are GORGEOUS. I am highly impressed at how this game matured from the version we were playing during the betatest. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/keith.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":keith" border="0" alt="keith.gif" />

WHEW!!! I really really really REALLY like it... Have divided the plunder twice now (to get to a higher difficulty level) and I'm just loving it... Can't wait to find some more time to gain enough gold to divide again so I can play at Rogue... Heh... <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/duel_pa.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":ixi" border="0" alt="duel_pa.gif" />

This game is FUN, pure and simple FUN! <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />

Thank you. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

I knew I wasn't the only one. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />

Yeah, this game rocks. I can't think of a game I've purchased within the last year that has pleased me right out of the box like this one has.

I think almost your entire crew would abandon you or mutiny. Why would they continue to fight for you if there was a chance you would cut them loose before giving them their share? They just saw you do it to some of their crewmates. Pirates run under a democracy and will get rid of a captain that doesn't treat them right. Word would also spread of you depriving men of their fair share of loot and you would have trouble finding new men.
