14/5 Khael Roa Missing Stone

That missing Stone Bug is back!
I reported it in 14/4 a while back and after installing 14/5,
playing the game the 1st time, it seemed to have disappeared.
Today, I played it for the second time and it's back!
Screenshot to prove that I'm not telling fibs, and yes the stone
is in the inventory!

oh no, not again! and i hoped to finally finish the game this time! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":facepalm" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" /> this bug is becoming a real pain.

So if I understand correctly, the bug wasn't present in Alpha 5 the first time you played it through, but it WAS the second time? That complicates matters. If the bug is not consitently repeatable, it is even harder to figure out how and when it's caused. I have no idea why it happens at all. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/modding.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":modding" border="0" alt="modding.gif" />

with the same result. I make the point to only play the Mainquest to get
there quicker! The stone to go up, when you place the icon is not there either!
You can walk into the next screen, where you meet Danielle, but you get stuck
there and it's the end! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/modding.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":modding" border="0" alt="modding.gif" /> <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/bookish.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":mm" border="0" alt="bookish.gif" />

Went back to a save and tried again!
I was thinking, as I was using one of the
imported ships from AOP(Escalated Battleship),
I replaced it with the org. Battleship and went back to
Khael Roa!
And The Stone was back!!!!!!!!!!! HURRA!!
So, that was the reason being confused the first time round!
Pieter, you can go on your trip without worrying about that stone!
The Moral of the Story: Don't use any Imports while sailing to
Khael Roa! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" /> <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/buds.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":drunk" border="0" alt="buds.gif" />
 
Uh? How can the ship you use have anything to do with it? Can somebody confirm that it really is the ship used that causes the problem???

I could play the save sailing the Escalated Battle ship again to confirm,
and give you the Error.txt if that helps! But I am convinced it has to do
whith that ship! When, during the battle with silehard, you capture his
ship and take it over, the stone will be there. When using the Escalated
Battleship it's not! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/whistling.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":wp" border="0" alt="whistling.gif" />
 
It could indeed be that you must capture Silehard's ship for the game to progress. I don't think that would be a Build 14 Alpha only issue though.

is there any possible way to make not capturing silehards ship less essential? this would certainly solve the missing stone bug, for as far as i understand it. i'm glad you found out. saves a lot of frustration for me! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />
