    In my last game I noticed the wierd romance thing too. I'd rescued 8 Gov daughters (to get 3 lost cities) and had the ninth still with Mendosa. Married a beautiful daughter I'd rescued previously then went and rescued the ninth daughter from Mendosa. Had 11 romance points. <img...

    I think the wealth score should be more along the lines of 1 fame point per 50,000 gold captured in your total career, + 1 fame point per 2,000 acres of land. This would mean the `full-on` pirate who captured everything in sight, could still get a massive total score and ranking. EG: Capture...

    A fleet is good for stocking up on booty! I usually set sail from the St Kitts/Montserat area, travel south then head east along the Sth America coast taking Spanish ships. After I get a full fleet I turn around and head back, claiming promotions in St Estatius, St Kitts and Montserat...
