    New install...same old problem with CTD. I have heard that Alpha 8 WIP 1 is a little more stable than Alpha 7 Plus so I am going to try it out. Does anyone know if my save games from Build 14 Alpha 7 Plus will work with Alpha 8 WIP 1??

    I don't see a compile.log or error.log either. I finally got out of that area but am now on Greenford trying to excape after looking for the idol. As soon as I go from port to sea I get a CTD. The system.log says: Scanning modules\ Loading modules... Loaded 0 Reset... Initializing CORE...

    Got it solved...for now! I backed up my origional file from Alpha 7 and copied and pasted Build 13 Final file. I now have full cannon sounds in game with NO crashes!

    What would happen if I replace the entire Build 14 Alpha 7 Plus sound_alias.ini file with the Build 13 Final one? Would I lose several sounds in game or crash? Other than that, any other ideas?
