Hey guys I've been running into a crash problem that I can't identify as of late during sea battles while beta testing the new Centurion WIP ship. I've looked at the error log and got this...

I got this 3 times now. Twice while I de-masted an NPC Centurion in an attempt to capture it, and once when I lost a mast myself in a collision with another ship while sailing a Centurion myself.

Does this error look ship related to the Centurion or is it something else altogether?

The Bow one (I'm not 100% femiliar with all mast names). A weird instance entry caused me to directly T-Bone the other ship. I've also completely de-masted an NPC Centurion on two occasions.

Does the error log mention something I somehow missed. Is there a known issue with the foremast? if so is there a fixed version?

Hmmm...! These 2 files are too large to post here.
I just tried.

Any idea what kind of error the error log itself is refering to?

Eh? How big are they? You can't upload them like this?

If you're trying to post them as text, there is a limit to the number of characters a post can contain. Posting them as attachments should work.

As for that error, I think it's some kind of character-related problem. On closer inspection, it doesn't seem ship related, but I could be wrong. :shrug

Aw yes Didn't think of that.:facepalm

Ok here they are

Hope these finally help.

Character error? In what way?

If it is that how come I only got this during Centurion encounters as I've been using these characters for a good while now why would they just stop now...?:unsure Odd..:shrug

I don't exactly know what the character error is. How long have you had your current install running? I think it might be typical error caused by the game getting corrupted over time, but that's just a guess.
I can't find anything that specifically states that the Centurion is at fault, here. :read

Right at the bottom of the system log it says " undefined error" with the video dlls. Dunno what is causing it, but will tinker a bit.

EDIT: I partially dismasted the Centurion twice and had no CTD. There was a gentle breeze, so I could not get a good run at the cliff. :rumgone

Sounds like we have a real mystery on our hands here.:read

I wonder what other gremlins I'm dealing with.

At least the ship is ok.:yes
