Woodes Rogers Part 2 - (05) Caesar

  • La Grenade (top)

    • Go to Smugglers’s Lair on La Grenade and talk to Samuel Odel in the tavern.
    • He tells that Robert Maynard bought the sloop. Maynard is living in Citadel Rock on Eleuthera.

    Eleuthera (top)

    • Eleuthera tavern: hire a ‘room’ and pass through the cellar to get to Citadel Rock.
    • Five bandits here you have to defeat. The monk on the seashore is dangerous as he has two grenades. You can fire at him without going down to the sand.
    • Take the Lever from him and place it in its spot.
    • Lever down: Lower door open - Bridge visible
    • Lever up: Upper door open - no Bridge
    • Open the Lower door and go/fall all the way down to the Cave.
    • Find a Spade here and use it to dig up the Anchor on the shore.
    • Make the Bridge visible and walk on the cliffs around the bay.
    • Place the Anchor to block the Bridge.
    • Go back and open the Upper door. Now the Bridge stays visible.
    • Enter the Citadel and go up through Maynard’s room to the roof.
    • Maynard has sold the sloop to a shipwreck dealer in Turks. His office is in the old fort.
    • Search Maynard’s room before leaving.

    Turks (top)

    • Take to the right in Turks port to exit to the jungle. Then left to the Fort.
    • The shipwreck dealer is found in the Armory which is at the bottom of the stairs.
    • The way to the Sloop on the shipwreck shore starts in Turks Tavern.

    The Gate (top)

    • At the Gates back to the town the Mistress from the brothel in Nevis fires at you.
    • She also locks you out from Turks port.
    • Go back to the Fort and again to the Armory in search for some explosives.
    • Take two Barrels of gunpowder from behind the trader’s table.
    • Place the Barrels at the Gate and light the fuse with F3.
    • Run now very fast as far away as possible from the Gate. If you’re too close when the Gate explodes you’ll be hurt or even killed.

    On the roofs (top)

    • Go to the tavern kitchen and upstairs the trader has a room.
    • Search the room for the Long rifle and ammo. Leave through the window.
    • Soon you have to fight two enemies.
    • After that there’s a trap: a musket from the building to the right. Take it slow and go down and under it.
    • After the ‘bridge’ of planks you are going down. Here’s next enemy at a small cannon.
    • Be quick and enter the near door and he fires at nothing. Out and defeat him.
    • Next enemy is hidden behind the next corner at the end of the balcony.
    • Going up the stairs you’ll face two enemies. One forward and one behind you.
    • The last one to fight is William Dampier. Loot him.
    • Continue and jump into the water. Swim to the right into the Cave.

    The Cave (top)

    • Steplock middle: metal door up/down
    • Steplock right: water out/in
    • Steplock left: hatch open/close
    • Swim/walk through the Sewer to get to the Wreck shore.

    The Sloop (top)

    • The mast is the only thing remaining of a sunken ship. Climb it and take the Cognac.
    • The small green floating vessel is the Sloop.
    • Enter the Cabin. Find Tools and an outfit upgrade in the Chest.
    • Continue to the Hold. You find the Gunpowder Storage.

    • If you don’t have Caesar as an officer you have to leave and return later.
    • To return from the Cave to Turks port, use the small Boat at the steplocks.

    • If Caesar’s your officer, you’ve got information and can take the dried gunpowder.
    • Place the dried gunpowder on the table in the cabin.
    • You can try Tools on the gunpowder but they have no effect.
    • On the contrary, hammer + knife can cause a deadly explosion.
    • Use the Cognac instead and you can take the Map from the gunpowder.
    • The Map is black of gunpowder. Clean it by using: no liquid + bandage/cloth.
    • Examine it to get all information from it.
    • Return to Turks port with the small boat at the steplocks.
