This walkthrough was created using Build 14 Beta 01 Patch 6 it may differ from other versions of the game.

SAVE HERE I have put this at a couple of places where you are about to have to make major choices. If you follow this advice, should you want to make a different choice, it should be easy to use this save and continue.

Sail to Playa de Sabana, Cuba – on beach Baltasar Salgada runs up and talks to you - ( he wants 600 ale minimum – or he will leave & quest book will close - Story Over ) – Fight – Spanish soldiers arrive and talk to you – transported to prison – Spanish officer talks to you.

Transported to Havana Residence – Spanish officer talks to you – Go and talk to Vice-Admiral Salvadore Benavides – given mission with 1 Month Time limit – QB Update

Go to shipyard – talk to Capt. Damski – Go to Port – talk to Chico Cois at end of jetty – QB Update

The Apprenticeship (top)

Sail to Grand Cayman – on Grand Cayman beach Chico Cios talks to you – QB Update

Go to town jungle gate – go to house just outside gate – enter – Chico Cois talks to you – Transported to outside house - Dominico Cuellar walks up and talks to you – follow him inside house – Dominico talks to you – gives you item – talks to you again – Chico Cois talks to you – gives you item – QB Update

Go to just inside port gate – Harold Flesher appears – follow and kill him – QB Update

Sail to Barbados – search Speightstown for missing spy Pelagius Lizarraga.

Dungeon entrances are

1) By the shipyard

2) To the left of the jetty – you have to swim

3) Trapdoor in front of 1st house on right inside port gate

WARNING - Abbey of Maltese Knights

In dungeon watch out for entrances to Abbey of Maltese Knights – don’t go there (if you do turn round and go straight back out) – unless you enjoy fighting undead monks etc. there are lots of them.

1) Down steps to 1st room – through arch in front of you to your right – then left down passage and steps to next room - spy Pelagius Lizarraga is in alcove to your left.

2) & 3) In 1st room go through passage straight ahead – in 2nd room spy Pelagius Lizarraga is in alcove on opposite side of room.

Find Pelagius Lizarraga – talk to him ( be careful he is in front of an entrance to Abbey of Maltese Knights ) – QB Update

Take Pelagius Lizarraga back to your ship.

In Speightstown centre – English officer challenges you over Pelagius – Fight – England Now Hostile.

(if you are moored in Speightstown Port – the fort will now fire at you)

(****If you exit the dungeon through the sewer to the Port and don’t go through Speightstown centre ( not fight English soldiers ) then England will not become Hostile.

Go back to ship & Sail to Havana, Cuba

Go and talk to Vice-Admiral Benavides – gives you next mission with 1 month time limit – QB Update – Pelagius leaves.

Exit Residence – outside Chico Cois talks to you – gives you item – QB Update

 

Sail to Hopital, Hispaniola

Go to Hopital Fort – (using entrance from town) – Enter fort – go across 1st courtyard to large gates on your left – 2nd courtyard go through large gates on your left – in 3rd courtyard Gabriel Brugera is French Soldier standing at far end – kill him – QB Update.

Exit Fort & sail to Havana, Cuba

Go and talk to Vice-Admiral Benavides – gives you next mission – QB Update

A Worm in the Apple (top)

This walkthrough assumes that you accept each job given to you – there are lots of options in the dialogues to reject the jobs - so before meeting people you should do a SAVE.

Sail to La Tortue, Tortuga – go to tavern – talk to Vassal Bethune – QB Update

Sail to Port Royale, Jamaica – on entering the part of town with the prison in it Vassel Bethune talks to you & walks away – follow him – Enter house – Talk to Mateus Santos.

Mateus Santos – makes you an offer - pay careful attention to what he says and the conditions he makes. ( BAD things will happen to you if you don’t follow the rules).

There are time limits - 3 months to do the job - you can take as long as you like to go back to Santos to collect the reward for the jobs he gives you

BUT each job you do will lower your reputation by one level ( if your reputation gets too bad, merchants / storekeepers will not talk to you or sell you goods e.g. Food, Rum etc.)

If you accept 1st job – QB Update - sail to Boca de Yuman, Hispaniola – talk to Ambroz Bricenos on beach – kill him – Yes / No - QB Update

Sail to Port Royale, Jamaica – go and talk to Mateus Santos - gives you reward – offers you next job – QB Update

Go to village tavern – talk to Hans Delorme - then Nicholas Butcher talks to you – Transported outside at night - Nicholas Butcher talks to you – Kill guards – Enter house – Talk to Cesario De Rosas hiding upstairs

Exit house - Nicholas Butcher talks to you – he leaves with Cesario De Rosas – fight Roche’s Pirates – QB Update

Go back to ship and search for Roche’s ship.

Roche Brasiliano’s ship is generated at a random island – so you have to check all the islands until you find it ( except Cuba, Curacao, Mona & Petit Tabac ).

You are looking for a pirate ship with full stats that is there in addition to the normal number of ships. ( usually 6 ships – so you are looking for an island with 7 ships).

Sink or capture Roche’s ship – kill Roche Brasiliano – QB Update

Sail to Havana, Cuba – on Land Ho – transported to Havana Fort

Auto-run to Roche Brasiliano – he talks to you – Auto-run to Vice-Admiral Benavides – he talks to you – Governor walks up and talks to you & gives you quest item - Vice-Admiral Benavides talks to you again – transported to jetty.
