Arrival at Island - Stormy Start

This walk through was created using Build 14 Beta 4 it may differ from other versions of the game.

To select this option when you start the game, choose the last option on the first dialogue with Malcolm in the Tutorial.

You will see a ship in a storm – then a body on a beach

You will then find your self on a random island – you have to find out where you are – find your ship and work out how to proceed.

Press F2

Check:-

• Damage to ship
• Number of crew
• Items in inventory – you are given random items, weapons, medicines etc
• Ships cargo – usually given a contraband item for island you are on
• Archipelago Map and Do a Save - will tell you where you are.
• Quest Book

Once you know these – find town - get ship repaired – find smuggler to sell goods to and then proceed ( check the chests on your ship - captains cabin ones should have useful random items as well).

Once you have sorted these things out you can either start the Main Quest - if you are playing Tales of a Sea Hawk - or continue with your Free Play.

OR do some side quests first.

For Tales of a Sea Hawk - To start the Main Quest – sail to Barbados – Don’t land at Speightstown it is captured by the French

Then sail away from Barbados – Go into World map to trigger movie (with Kiera Knightly voice) – then exit the world map and you will be chased by French Warships

Main Quest should now have started – sail to Port Royale, Jamaica
