Unable to deliver letter to pirate

I'm trying to do the mission where you deliver the letter from the governer to the pirate chief. my relations with the pirates are so hostile that as soon as i step foot onto the pirate island everyone fights me so i cant deliver the letter. I'm using build 13 as well.

I have another problem in that i was pirate hunting off isla muelle and the ship struck its colours and got away from me. now i cant do anymore pirate hunting mission cos that one is still open.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

why would the first thing stop you? does the pirate chief attack you as well?

the second is a bug i had foreseen. i'm afraid there's nothing you can do about it. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" /> there is a toggle for the weather updates though. it would be wise to use that in the future. if only anyone knew which key that toggle was.

yeh the pirate chief attacks me too. that means that i cant talk to him. i cant even fast travel to the pirate chief's house cos it says something is gona happen.

i have heard this problem before. if you don;t have build 13 update 3, then you should install it.
