Hi,
Sea Dogs had a "turbo" button, and personally I used it all the time because sea-combat is just a little slow for me. Does POTC? From what I've glimpsed in an XBOX faq, plus a thread here, it does (the "R" key), but it doesn't seem to work for me and it's not on the key-assignment list. I can't see one in my options file after a cursor search for either "turbo" or "=r" (for the assignment).

I believe I've found mention that it's the "*" key in the american version of the game.
 
I vaguely recall it indeed used to be; might even still be in Build 12 and/or Build 13.
It's definitly R in Build 14 Beta though.
 
No, it's the "R" key in build mod 12 and build mod 13 too. :yes
 
Then it might've been my memory from the stock European game acting up; I vaguely recall using * at some point in the past.
Might've been Build 11 as well.
 
It's both "R" and "*" in build mod 11, so it might be that you remember. In the european version it's only "R", at least in the english.
 
Yes, it does. Careful with 30x time compression at sea though; sometimes you lose control of your ship. :wacko:
