i currently have the build 12. is the build 12.1 better or are there certain bugs in it that makes it better to wait until the final build 13? please say why below if i shouldn't install build 12.1

well i would install and i don't see why not it has a lot of bug fixes but why not build 12.91 (with al the additional mods and beta's
i din't know about that one. where can i find it? i didn't see it on the mainsite.Heheh... 12.91 is the latest beta 6 of Build 13. It has some major show stoppers in it which hopefully will be fixed in ~12.92~ (beta 7). So I would suggest you wait till beta 7 comes out before plunging into Build 13.

either do that or wait untill the final stabele version comes out (in my eyes :next month)
i think i'll wait. i will install 12.1 one anyway. but if i do install the beta 6 version, should i install build 13 and then build 13.6? or can i just install 13.6 straight away?
If you havent played 12.1 before, then your in for a treat <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="yes.gif" />
Build13(the beta version) has huge potential to be as big a step-up for the game as 12.1 was to the standard game imho. It mostly builds on what 12.1 achieved but also has some great new features(i especialy love the new interface - makes the game a pleasure to play).
Still as has been mentioned build13 is still in beta testing, and it will be unlikely that you can curently play a build13(beta) game to completion. So if you want to just play a great game of PotC, then 12.1 is your best bet.
If you want to help with the beta testing, then pre-build13(base)+beta6(both available from Pieters site) is what you'll need.
there is no such thing as build 13.6 since build 13 is just in a beta phase
i meant the 6th version of the build 13 in the beta fase. i've heard there are new islands in build 13.
i've also seen a screenshot on the site of thomas the terror where you see the black pearl in very high detail. it looks amazing! i don't think i want to test the build. i'm annoyed enough by my own buggy computer which causes the game to crash very often. it could give false test results as i won't know if the bug is in my computer or the game.
The original Build 12 (or Build 12.0, as it is known) is not available anymore at all. Build 12.1 is definitly better than Build 12, because it fixes some bugs. At the moment Build 12.1 is the most playable version.
We are currently working on fixing up our Build 13 Beta version for the final release. We do get closer and closer and Beta 7 should again be a major step forward thanks to IncredibleHat's recent fixes. Once it's working properly and stable, this will be the version to get, because it's a major improvement over Build 12.1. At the moment it is playable for the most part, but it still has several severe bugs in there, so we're not done yet.
