tips for destroy black pearl

I have not installed mod, i'm at the end of the finaol main quest. After taking the object in the temple i find the Black Pearl. I have a Manowar, but is impossible to sink Black Pearl, is too quick, too strong and impossible to adboard. Have you some good ideas?

Please help me
 
IIRC when you have got the artifact from the temple you gain a new ability that you can use to make the Pearl more vulnerable to your attacks. You can access this new ability the same you you do for Instant Repair.

I suggest that you only try to sink her and not board as that is impossible to do as the code has got her set to be unboardable.
 
You just have to keep firing away at her; she is tough with a lot of HP - and so be sure to have enough cannonballs or bombs because you will need to fire a LOT at her... She's also a problem to catch - she's fast... Try to take out her sails if you can, so that means knippels too... <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/onya.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":onya" border="0" alt="onya.gif" />
 
I destroyed the black pearl ones now, only the darn game froze on me as soon as i landed to save :S But now I can't even seem to harm the darn thing (only sails and crew no hull damage), it repairs as fast as i damage it. :S
 
Maybe you´ve got a problem withthe videos, there´s one supposed to be playing after you destroyed the Pearl. And to be able to damage her, you must use that orb Danielle snatches from the temple.
 
I used the orb, the ship just stays at about 10% damage, with about 10 crew members and 15% sails. And like i said, I destroyed it allready, jsut coulden't save it, gotta destroy it again.

Heh, I did that once while bugtesting a mod I was working on, and forgot to reset it back to normal, BOY, that surprised the OTHER people testing my mod, LOL! <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/whistling.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":wp" border="0" alt="whistling.gif" />
 
well she's a tough one to crack, sunk 1 of my battleships (I had a MoW and 2 BS's on start) in the stock PotC.
 
Strange...you get the MoW in front of Khael Roa, right?
Well its quite a normal ship to me, just stronger :p
You sure you got side by side by her (suicidal most times) and matched her speed?
 
Super Frigate, Battleship or Warship would also take the BP out pretty fast in a straight fight. The MoW used by Silehard was easy to board and capture with a frigate. The MoW turns quite slow and it is not too difficult to get on her stern and approach for boarding from there - suicidal if you get broadsided in anything less than a frigate though!
 
I boarded her (the MOW) with my ship "El Muerte Negro", she's a fast schooner tho :p np there :p

About the Black Pearl, I got her again <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> I hate how it lowers ur standing with my buddy's the pirates tho... <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":c" border="0" alt="mad.gif" />
