Tip when tou can't move your character

hi,

I found a solution when your character is stuck and you can only look around using the mouse. Look at a NPC and press the key used to see NPC's stats (0 by default), and when you exit the stat you'll be able to move again

When exactly does this work? There is one place where I get stuck but can still turn left and right. That is when exiting the Orangestad tailor shop. Every other time I get stuck I can only slide left and right. Getting stuck like that involves the bugged escort missions and sometimes Artois Voysey.

For me it works everytime i get stuck, tnis mean i can't go foward or back neither i can't slide left or right, and beside the loading menu is unavailable too, all i can do is F5(quickload) but i'm always still stuck after the reload so till now my only option was ctrl+alt+supr

I've done Artois Voysey and i had a quest restart but i don't think i had a bugged escort mission... Anyway, istarted a new game to play Jack Sparrow so i don't think it's related with Artois Voysey...

Well, it always works, as long as there is a NPC near me... I was stuck once in a cave with no officer and i had to use the old method wich is let me remind you ctrl+alt+supr

but wouldn't this screw up any ongoing quest regardless? it's caused by a missing or malfunctionating quest trigger. skipping it in the way you discovered shouldn't fix it.

I'm not sure i understand the point in your post, but if it's fixing Artois Voysey quest or any other, that's not the goal of this tip... This trick is just a way to go on keep on walking

Yes and no. Or is that a definite maybe.

Early on with Artois Voysey when he takes too much damage and you get stuck.......This might work there.

The escort mission to Antigua ends with you stuck on the dock, but you can see the merchant. Perhaps if you could go meet him, that would complete that mission.

The escort mission to Eluethera is just plain bugged. This is no help there.
