over at TeamXbox, Brent Soboleski has a rather glowing review of The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition for the Xbox 360. It is currently available for download on Xbox Live Arcade for 800 Microsoft Points or about $10. The PC version is available on Steam HERE for the same price!

 

Newcomers to the game who may have either been too young to enjoy the original?which was released in 1990?or were living in a cave will find themselves taken back to a time when games relied much more on great storytelling and creativity, rather than flashy graphics and powerful explosions. For the sake of those who haven?t experienced the brilliance that is Monkey Island, I?ll leave much of the story and spoilers out of this review. The best thing about The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition is that it?s one of those games that?s just as much fun playing through again as it is the first time!​
