The Brigantine, Cutters And Snows

Brigantine: A vessel good for carrying slaves, and cargo and was another vessel commonly used by Pirates: Charles Vane, Thomas Anstis, etc.

Cutter: a small type of vessel that held about 8 to 12 guns and was used by privateers.

Snow: A large type of vessel, used sometimes for piracy and could be mounted up to 34 to 40 guns and a large crew. It was also a good for honest trade in the caribbean.

We badly need a new Snow Brig.

Snow brigs generally were the same size as a regular brig- 50-125 feet or so. They could never carry that many guns.
Edit: The ow is pronounced with an "ou" sound, like in "ouch."

Speaking of snows...whats the advantage of having a try mast? More stability compared to a regular brig?

It isn't as strong, but it allows the gaff and boom more freedom of motion.
