Tavern is locked

I've got to the point where you've been washed up on the shore in dowesen.
I get to the town and every where including the tavern is locked.....help!

you should head for the pirate's hideout in the jungle. just head straight on at every intersection in the jungle when exiting the town.

by the way: does the game run in slow-motion now?

yes it does run in slow motion.

What should i do when i get to the pirates hide out??

you should enter the tavern and talk to the people there. then you have several options what you should do. as i've only tried one of them, i can't exactly tell which one's the best. i'll leave it to you to find out. whatever you do, you should eventually reach your goal.

the slowmotion stops when you leave the island.
