strange sunk by hoG event triggers after exchanging cargo with berthed ships,
also same event triggers after letting ship live in seabattles, if you touch their cargo... (not sure if this one is a bug or feature)

Just to be clear, is this on Beyond New Horizons, Maelstrom, or both?

I believe that happens in New Horizons as well. It's probably intentional in sea battles - perhaps leaving a surrendered ship afloat after it has been looted caused some other problems.

We probably want to block transfers with berthed ships. If they're laid up then they've lost everything, probably including the cargo. If they're on shore leave then there's nobody aboard to load and unload cargo. If you want to do anything to the ship, unberth it first!

I don't remember that being intentional at all.
I'd much prefer this to be addressed.
