Still higher speed when on land.

When I'm on sea I have the time sometimes x30. When I reach land then the time still goes 30 times as fast. This isn't that much a problem when I'm just there for something but when I'm attacked (for example during boarding) this is quite annoying. Is it possible the time multiplier is being reset to 0 before you enter a other ship or land?

yeah a double tab on the g button is fine. but when boarding it can be annoying. especially when you forget it for a moment.

I've noticed that as well. There are weird things going on with the timescale.
Sometimes certain interfaces speed things up as well. No clue why, really.
Technically, that would ALL need to be checked on.

Extract attached to PROGRAM\Loc_ai . This should set the timescale back to 1 upon boarding.
See if that is any better.

Thanks. I will take a look at it. I saw what you changed in the file. If it works I can probally change it for the other files where needed also (still trying to figure out how everything works in the mod).

On a related note, has anyone ever noticed that World Map travel appears to be slowed down after the opening video for the Sea Hawk storyline?
Pressing the R-key brings it back to 1x speed. Very strange.

Indeed I think I noticed that too. Not sure why it would do that though. o_O

Could a fail-safe be added just to force the time to 1x speed when the video finishes or is skipped?

Extract attached to PROGRAM\Storyline\standard\quests . Does that help?

also I believe after paying your salary the speed is upped or something like that. at least you are zoomed in to the map more which makes it go faster.

I noticed that too. Have ZERO clue why. Seems the game gets a bit confused on interfaces on the worldmap.
But how to properly fix it? Not sure. And I'm sick and tired of fixing stuff for a while. :sick

would it be an idea to make a bugtracker?
So these kind of things can be submitted there. When people want to help they can see which bugs they can fix.

We used to have a bug tracker, but we lost it. Not sure how to make another.
I've been using forum threads for it, marking them as "Solved" when done and moving them away so I don't see them anymore.
