simple question

Hey i already own age of pirates 2. i wanted to get this game first but i kept hearing about the vista problems and decided to get coas instead. now i hear that it IS possible to play on vista. can anyone tell me exactly what to do when i get the game? i mean i get the cd now do i install it and then apply a patch or mod? Also when i look it up on ebay i see about 2 or 3 games out there. the build mod is for the original game right?

you can play the game on Vista - just do NOT install it in the Program folder -- install somewhere else eg My Games folder

1) Install game from CD
2) Install Build 14 Beta 01 Full - follow instructions - see downloads tab below Pirates Ahoy banner
3) Install Build 14 Beta 01 Patch 3.1 - follow instructions

Must run the Runme.bat & Rename.bat files - as per the instructions

You might also have to set up a Data Execution Prevention exception. I did.
