ship upgrades NEED HELP PLEASE

im trying to upgrade my hull but it says i need 30 timber where do i get this its not in shops Ive tried all the different types of wood and planks please anwser no one responded to my topic about the totem quest one

There just may not be timbers at the store that you are at..

i tried to install the mod pack patch which says it has it but now there are no goods for sake and it crash when i try to save

When you load the game press ESC and go into options, at the bottom right you will see a button with no text in it, punch that and then save the game and continue playing, you should see the goods then. If not you will need to start a new game.

I can't explain where to find things like that because i don't get time to play quests. Alway's busy editing and testing for quests and finding iteam's. There might be a post somewhere about where each of the speciel or rare iteam's can be found.

Are they small caliber guns? Are you taking a lot of hull damage? I just had a fight a few minutes ago in which my ship lost 16 of its 20 guns, but they were 4lb, so that's to be expected.

im not takeing much hull damage but the only 14lbs cannons so i guess thats why

And what ships was attacking you? and what was they packing because the amount of guns they have mounted and the calibure they are using will greatly effect how much damage you take. Also what difficulty are you playing on?
