searching for captain rehims

after meeting danielle and vincent at oxbay lighthouse, after rescuing the old guy prior to be burned, danielle say to me that she has found the trace of rehims and that he is at douwessen tavern, and that she will be at the port that is the info that i got fm the quest book. I sail to douwessen island but none is at the port as well as in the tavern. Im fully stuck there and I don´t know what to do pls advise me

Hummm... Been a long time since I did this quest (usually I play without playing the main quest at all!) Did you talk to the bartender?

yes i spoke to everybody on the tavern starting fm the taverkeeper, but no options to ask for rehims, may be in one of the mission with the french captain i overpass the mission leaving through Oxbay going to greenford buying a new vessel and leaving the island, is the quest of the french captain when you will be involved as his crewmember. i don;t know is its compulsory to play in that way ?

Read your quest book!
If you look at your "Quest Book" it says something about needing to go report this the Gov Sielhard first!

Go report it to the Gov. at Redmond, then go back to the Light House where Danielle will be waiting for you.

Edit: When you go back to the Light House to meet Danielle, be sure to have no more than 3 ships as she has one and needs to be in your fleet!

Without looking too deeply into the code, I'm going to guess that there is some kind of quest check that needs to be answered before Danielle will show up. You should try to go back to a previous save and complete the French Captain quest. I don't think so.
He would not have gotten the "Rheims quest" for Sielhard to begin with, had he not gotten past the "French Corvette" quest one way or another.
You can fail the troop escort quest earlier in game and still make progress and I'd guess the "French Corvette" quest is the same.

also im facing a trouble with nigel in quebradas costillas i enter to the hideout, he is always at my orders but he can't join my crew, what i need to do????

Each time I've played, I've always helped Voysey, and killed Nigel.

Actually, that is because since the original POTC, the Voysey quest, although full of bugs, still worked, while the Nigel quest never did.

I understand that the Nigel quest works now, but I don't know how. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shrug" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" />

Petros,I'd be sure ye'll be enjoy'n Nigel's pain in der arse tactics,don't wanna give anything away but after ye hire em,ye need te go to Oxbay,be sure its free O dem French,do choclate delivery,than sail fer Conceico whar Nigel will want ye ter hunt down a pirate by name O' Shaggy Gary,take quest,do what ye will with Shaggy Gary,BE SURE to make Nigel captain O' shaggy's corvette ur else nuth'n else concern'n Nigel will happen,and do not sail into backdoors of any Islands,ye must sail into ports ter trigger quests <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheers" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />
 
In looking for Rheims I have gone to the tavern on Quebradas Costillas and talked to the owner. She has told me Rheims has gone to Conceicao but when I go there the pitraste leader won't talk to me and I can't enter the house. Have I missed a step somewhere? My quest book seems to point me straight to the other island.
