Screenshots

I realise that this question may of been asked before,but what button do you use to take a Screen Shot & where is it saved ?

You can do two things:
1) Press PrintScreen on the keyboard, then go to a program like MS Paint and press paste (Ctrl + V). The screenshot will then be pasted on the screen and you can save it. However, this does mean you need to quit PotC for each screenshot. That is why the following is easier:
2) Press the F9 button in the game. The screenshot will then be saved in the main PotC folder with the extension .tga. To show them on, for example, the forum, you need to convert these files to a different file format, preferrably .jpg.

You could be right. I might not remember correctly. Try both and one of them will work. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />

You can also try opening "MS Word" and selecting "Edit" then "Office Clipboard". Now run the game.... when you want to take a screenshot, press "Alt + PrtScn" this will place a screenshot on to your clipboard. This normally holds about 24 images before it over rights the first one. End the game. Now you can copy and paste your pictures [normally one at a time] in to MS Paint, Fireworks, Photoshop or what ever drawing package you have <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

on the topic of screen shots does anyone know how to make a video from the video game....I think this may need a special grphics card

I have once made a video from another game, but it didn't work too well. For this to work, you need a very good graphics card indeed.
