i just bought POTC and I started the game but some guy gave me the tip to loan money from the loanshak thingummie.... and than buy sandal and silk...

but where to get the sandal and silk???

are sandal and silk products em self???
and is the merchant like the shop?????
couse in the shop i cant find silk and sandal.....

please helpp me

Beamster, when you go into the merchant shop, talk to the man behind the counter and tell him you want to sell something. It's not what you want to do, but it WILL open up your menu to select the ship for which you wish to sell or buy goods. Once you do that, you will see a long scrolling menu of goods, starting with cannonballs & such. If you scroll to the left you will see Sandalwood as one item you can buy or sell, and scrolling even further you will see rolls of silk.

If you are doing the tutorial, you will have seen how you can sell items - and you can also buy items the same way.

Malcolm suggests you buy something to sell when you travel to another island... Sandalwood is a good trade item to sell on Redmond, which is probably where you wish to go after you leave Oxbay. Don't worry about the silk, and don't worry about the loanshark. Get your ship repaired and the goods on it sold, and you should have enough money to buy some sandalwood. Don't worry that you might not be able to fill your ship - just buy what you can; you'll see when you get to Redmond that you will make a tidy profit on the sandalwood.

know i know where the sandal and silks are...
but if i sail it issnt real beauty huh? ....
in sid meier`s pirates its allot better to sail...
the graphics are higher when u sail.. thats wat i mean...

When you are in the "sea" mode (overhead camera sailing to other islands), if you press the TAB button you will get a zoom out on the camera so you can see further around the archipelago. You will also be able to scroll your view around (not always on your ship) so you can see where the other islands are.
