Need Help sails on ai ships

I don't know if this is a bug, when i battle a ship and knock down its sails and have to load a save game, due to a ctd, i come back to the ai ship having full sails again with full sailing abilities, eventhough the damage is still shown on the icon pic. Is this fixable?

It is not fixable right now. This has been noted for some time, but there is some technical problem with fixing it.

Do you mean knocking down masts? That has always been slightly glitchy, so the state of losing masts has to be reset when reloading a savegame or location, to prevent worse bugs from occurring.
