I started work on a fast barque.
I'm using the Yacht hull and square sails on the bow and foremast, with Xebec sails for main and mizzen.
There is no confusion about what a modern 18th and 19th Century Barque looks like, but no agreement on what a 1600's one should look like.
One might want to call it a Barquentine rigged Yacht, but I'm not.
My version uses older sail types anyway.
So, I'll be calling it a fast barque.
