Question regarding debugger

What the following functions in debugger menu do -

"CreateSiege", "Give next line quest", "Shotgun mode ON\OFF", "call change relations of the nations", "quest list to PCHAR", "To start gold fleet", "Ascold info" and "Reload location - for CALLS"?

It's just so confusing :shrug , the translations are terrible. :facepalm I'd appreciate if you guys could tell me what all of those functions do.

Regards,
Ricox.

if you don't know just try it...but be careful...some of them will destroy your savegame a bit...so you should make sth like a backup...

"Give next line quest" - don't know how to explain with other words...you reach next task in your nationquestline

"Shotgun mode ON\OFF" - you can shoot with a shotgun if you are fighing...just try it

"call change relations of the nations" - nations will change their relations...as example: if england and spain are at wa they can get peace...what happens is random i think

"quest list to PCHAR" - you see a list of quest; think the quest which are activated at the moment (son't know how this will help you...maybe if you try to add new ones)

"To start gold fleet" - gold fleet will start...they wont ship everyday around...so you can hunt them

"Ascold info" - you get some info...but I again don't know what this infos are for

"Reload location - for CALLS" - the location where you are will reload...you will set to a standard position...

the rest I never tried

About your explanation for shotgun mode - I can use shotguns even without activating that function, or is it activated by default in both dev and normal version?

And for that "Give next line quest", so it's like I just got a Spanish patent and I'm supposed to get a mission to rescue 3 Spaniards from Port Royal, if I use the option twice, then it automatically counts that the mission to rescue them is completed, so is the inquisition mission, so I can start the 3rd quest that Spanish quest line offers, right?

By the way, thank you for helping me out. :dance

did you test shotgun mode? then you what it is.
thats not the "pistol" you can get as item. just test it in a battle

mhhh...good question...never tested it...but it seems to me you can test it...do it and say it to me :razz

but don't forget that this changes variables for the quest and this can destroy your savegame...so backup first

Meh, did it yesterday and it works like that. If you press it till it shows "you can take nation quest line 12", then it means you talk to Govrenor-General of the nation you have patent with and he gives you the last mission in the quest line (after finishing you get rights to capture cities etc., but if in the questline you for example had to capture a city other than in quest 12, then it wont be captured after finishing only quest 12). I didn't try using it more after it had shown that I can take quest 12. Also, if you for example did quest 10 and are now waiting for quest 11, but GG is still not giving it (telling he's busy etc. etc.), then using this cheat wont help as it will take you to quest 12 (next quest after the one that should be offered now).

EDIT: Also "call change relation of nations" doesn't really work. Maybe I need to wait a few game days or what..?
