this topic is made for walkthroughs on sidequests the main quest is on another topic[still needs some work build 13/14 not included until i get mine installed]do tell me if this is not allowed in anyway this is most adviced to do after the main quest

<b><u>Sink the english Corvette</u></b>
This is very much the most straight foward quest i mostly suggest you to get a frigate or some strong withstanding boat to actually take this on you can either board it or sink it my personal favourite is boarding after this is done talk to the governor to collect ya booty

<u><b>Help the church</b></u>
well theres two ways to go about this you need a reputation of dashing or above to start this quest talk to the church father in redmond there you will need to go to greenford go to the church and talk to jerald's assistant if you want the easy way out you can go to redmond now if you wish to stay longer talk to the priest he might buy off the letters off you making some money[DO NOT SELL THEM] go to the tavern and talk to the waitress then to the bartender we have to look for this yedam guy he lives in a house up a few steps talk to him i would not try to get into a fight in anyways possible sweet talk him then talk to the inn keeper and head back to redmond church

<b><u>Hard Labours of an assassin</u></b>
this can be started by going to the inn in conceiaco when youre level 5 or above a guy would ask you to to kill santos on isla muelle head there now this guy isnt too hard to find hes in the part after the port look door to door for a house that say house of mateus santos go in but the last choice would be tring to kill him[hes invincible]instead work for him go back to conceiaco and kill the guy on levithan's rock[i think its there havent done in a long time]you could try to get money off him and kill him but that would be bad for your reputation instead take the money let him go and kill him before he escapes[saving is a good idea]head back to mateus for your next mission i would not want to do anything during this period of time head to greenford and head to the house left of the tavern finish the talking gorila he shouldent be hard now two choices take the money and kill him or kill him money is my ally so i go with that letting him go wouldent be a good idea in most cases as that its nearly impossible to kill him that way head back for your next mission next one head to quebradas look for the one that stands out the most dont talk just blast him head back for your next assignment head to conceiaco head up the stairs of the house next to the townhall SAVE HERE this guy is very hard to kill[not sure about modded version]you will need the perfect timing either that or you can recruit him by letting him go[not sure how]when you kill him head back to mateus and head back to conceiaco head to the tavern head to the church talk to the old man DO NOT KILL HIM if you do it will lead into your own death talk to him to accept the mission from him head back to isla muelle and head up the tavern stairs and into the room kill him he may have alot of hp but his swordman ship is well not as good as vieira hes just a push over dispatch him and head down to finish your mission[you will do it automatically]

<b><u>Find the missing son of the spanish admiral</u></b>
head to isla muelle town hall to begin the quest he will only talk to you if your reputation is dashing or higher head to redmond go to the tavern and talk to the innkeeper head out to the forest and find his girlfriend[guarded by guards] to find out that he has been kidnapped head to isla muelle and accept it head to falaise de fleur save outside the tavern they will show you to the hideout theres a chance you can kill them and take the booty for yourself if you cant give the money and go to isla muelle and you have an extra officer to ya crew
 
<b><u>French Pirate in the Tavern</u></b>
To Begin this it is a little recomanded that you are above level 10 as far as i know this is only in the modded version go to isla muelle tavern talk you the woman in the table next to you if you are high enough she will let you join her go to oxbay and you will automatically be next to the mines kill the guards and continue on it is possible to kill her and take her ship but i would not recomand that head into greenford and take the other gate out of town and head towards oxbay at some part in the jungle you will meet some soldiers kill them before they escape then you will have trouble doing it say to bring the ship here go and proceed to the beach near you some guards will appear they are just pushovers you can choose to kill her and take all the booty but id rather take her as an officer its your decision

<b><u>Escort Vigila Mendes's Ship</u></b>
Head to the store in isla muelle and talk to the guy in front of the counter [not behind] agree to escort him ship to falaise de fleur be sure to hoist the french flag if youre hostile with them head to the store and talk to him and head back to the ship and head back to isla muelle i would advise you NOT to go off in any battles because theres no gurantee that his ship will remain intact head back to the store and talk to him ending the quest

<b><u>Saving Toff's Daughter</u></b>
Go to douwesen inn and talk to the man in green he will only talk to you if your reputation is bloke or higher head to the town hall i wouldent go to the ship now because you will have to go on 2 VS 1 so go and talk to the governor once youre there head to the port and go to the ship its now the odds are shifted into your favour his crew member is not too happy because he is ready to get them killed over one girl go to the governor and collect your reward head back to toff and collect your booty a good sword for a beginner

<b><u>A girl won in a card game</u></b>
This can be done if you only have beat a person in dice it is best adviced you have 2 or above luck or it will be hard to beat them and talk to them again and they give a different speach there are two ways you can get her and two ways to finish this first you can get her by winning her which always does for me the first try or killing him first path is to kidnap her and go to the french governor on falaise de fleur skip this if you wish to help her a guy will talk to you about her decline his offer head to falaise de fleur land on octopus bay to escape the fort head to the city and go to the town hall and say that it was chance that you found her and demand ransom though if you wish to help her head to falaise de fleur inn and you will automatically go to the person and after that go outside and help her go to the governor and say she is your guest on your ship this will end your quest

<b><u>Strange things going on the archipelago</u></b>[to be made need time to do again since after the build]

<b><u>The Saga of the Blacque family</u></b>[i can get work on this since im done getting the build installed]
To begin the first part of this head to the inn exit and head to the right side gate and enter look for a woman with blonde hair and white and blue outfit next head to the port via fast travel you will see a old looking man who is white and green talk to him and once youre done talk to a guy in yellow and red outfit beside the port house[very close]
ask him ONLY about the old man head inside the port house and talk to trupin[the only one in the house]once youre done head back to rachel and talk to her i wouldent advise giving her money talk to her about the old man and herself which you will find a bruise head back to your not very old friend Orable[the one beside the head port house]
treaten to kill him if he dares harm her again once youre done head back to rachel and say that it is done now head to redmond head through the first door and look for someone who looks like rys bloom[green and white shirt] talk to him and agree to take him back go to the shop and talk to thomas about the debt talk to Marc again and head to falaise de fleur talk to him and talk to his sister[which is in the same place] then finish by talking to his father

<b><u>Cargo for thomas o Reily</u></b>
Start this by talking to the person in the head port house in redmond asking for any job head to the store and ask thomas for work BUT it is a different phrase head to falaise de fleur and deliver it to the shop keeper and head back for your reward [this one is abit unconfirmed]

<b><u>Patric and the idols</u></b>
you can start this quest by talking to one of the merchants under the tents outside the tavern talk to him about the idols try to bargain more money from him if possible if not accept it very cheap isnt it? head to the tavern and talk to the inn keeper and ask about a guy head through the right gates twice and look arround for the house [needs more work to be done]
 
with the missing son of the spanish admiral quest it's also possible to not give the thugs the ransom and still prevent lucas from being killed. that way you can get the reputation bonus AND a double reward.
 
this will take sometime since im unable to figure out some secrets and i havent been able to do finish some

its directly the opposite sometimes there is a problem with the sea_AI or seadogs.c or a bunch of other stuff[which cause the game to close]well ill fill in some quests

<u><b>Nigel Blythne</b></u>
to start off this one is for the build mod 13 and later this one for some reason or another must be done AFTER oxbay has been recaptured by the british again[i have no idea]if you didnt youre going to be stuck......head to quebradas costillas and head into town when the fighting stops choose not to help the navigator instead go and leave him alone after he is done killing the navigator hire him onto the ship then head to redmond and go to the tavern you can see him sitting down on one of the tables you can or cannot wish to take the choclate deal from him if you did go to isla muelle shop and talk to the shopkeeper next stop is conceiaco head to the tavern again... you will see him sitting at one of the tables talk to him and accept this deal the money is too good to let it slip
head out to sea there will be a pirate corvette capture it[there may be some problems]and make nigel the captain head to port and head to the town hall and talk to the governor and head to douwesen there he will start attacking a ship its preety easy to blast it to smithereens head to port and fight a bunch of guys after youre done with them head to isla muelle and you will see your ship is gone[nigels one] head into port and you will find someone after talking to him head to the inn and talk to the inn keeper about nigel head pass the gates behind the tavern and find the fat guy in leatherish outfit after talking to him head to quebradas costillas and ask the inn keeper about nigel blythne after that talk to the guy on the stairs go to the shop and pay off his debt talk to him again and head to douwesen and head out of town near the tavern side go behind the water fall and figh your way pass the people next kill nigel blythne and the rest of the other people and the quest is over

And how did You manage that?

I tried almost everything know:
-can't draw the sward in the tavern (even if i draw it outside then go inside)
-if I kill the guy outside who shows me the place of the meeting, then every door in the town get locked
-I follow the guy in the house with sword in my hand, kill him inside, but after that can't go outside or on the second floor to Lucas
-I found no other dialogs to the cast, can't talk about it with the tavernkeeper or the other thug who stays in the tavern.
 
i don't know, actually. it's got something to do with your reputation. try starting the quest, lowering your reputation by a lot (making it bad. maybe not too bad though, otherwise you might offer that the thugs would just kill the boy. you never know.) and then doing that bit. you should get the option.
 
guys for not having the quests updated is cuz half the time the mod goes off into a random exit for unknown reasons[they dont state it in the error logs]
 
Which game version do you use? Try opening <i>PROGRAM\WorldMap\worldmap.c</i> and set <i>MAPSPEED 1.0</i> at the top of the file.
 
ill be using 13.3 at the moment as the mod progresses the crashes heappen more often 14 alpha + is the worst so far




PS:13.3 is the most stable so far 14 alpha + is the one that gives headaches
 
Alpha +? Do you mean Alpha 7 Plus? That one's indeed not very good. If you do want to use a Build 14 Alpha version, stick to Alpha 6, possibly with its Update 2.
