Pre B13 WIP: Ammo mod

what about an cartridge pouch? This contains both bullets and powder (in papercartridges) and it will make you reload faster!
 
I think the original reason for removing those items was because if they ARE there, the whole ammomod becomes a bit useless.
After all, if you can carry so many powder/bullet items anyway, why need to limit it at all? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />
 
well.. I think even with 10 ammo and powder it will be really limiting... Even if Limited inventory mod will be on it also will have weight...
 
That's certainly true. So which items would you propose in total? Right now you can carry 6 bullets and 6 gunpowder, right?
Use pouch and bag to increase to 12 or so? Then what other items would you need?
 
There were an old ammobag and a small powderbarrel. I removed them when simplifying and cleaning up the mess after.... some other work. They were no good because you needed up to 4 items to reach max ammo.

I have in mind to add some kind of ammobag (containing both shots and gunpowder). Raising the max to maybe 18 shots (too many makes the mod pointless). It is meant to be given to you as a quest reward item (as an addon to something else). I don't like the idea of carrying 3 containers so I want this bag to replace both flask & pouch (and itself take say 18 shots).
