POTC 3?

I'm not sure if there's already a topic on this, and if that's the case, i apoligize.

I really enjoyed POTC 2, it had almost everything you want from a pirate game.
I especially enjoyed sailing, sea battles and exploring the towns and islands.
What i didn't like was the map, it was too small and pirates should be placed in the Caribbean, not in some fictional world.

Are there any plans for a third game?

Akella is making a "proper" SeaDogs II - the followup to their most excellent SeaDogs. It is supposed to be all that they wanted PotC to be until Disney bought it up and rushed development. Akella is also making several other `pirate-themed` games, and those can be read about there.

They also have what looks to be a cracking good WW2 game, Knights of the Sea - you're the captain of a PT boat. I saw this at E3 and was MIGHTY impressed...
