Playing Base Game

Hi all, I was wondering something. I've installed the Build 14 mod and wondered how I could play the base game with the mod installed if at all possible please
 
You could install the base game again into a different folder. Disk space permitting, you can have as many different installations as you like.

The original storyline is in the mod, now called "Tales of a Sea Hawk". If you start a new game, that's the default storyline. It's not the same as the base game, of course, as it's set in the mod's expanded Caribbean and it's been altered to fit in with the mod, but the main story plot is the same. In fact, when I first downloaded Build 14 many years ago, that was the first story I played so I could compare the mod to the original.

Thank you I might do that. I have another problem though. When I try to click new game in the mod it loads for a few seconds and just crashes my game with no error message. I've tried to install the Intel fix but that doesn't help
 
Can you find the files "compile.log", "system.log", and possibly "error.log"? The first two should be in the top level of the game folder. If "error.log" exists, it will also be there.
