Pirates of the Caribean 3 release date!!!???

I just read somewhere that POTC 3 is due for realse in late 2007. I must have missed 60 minutes because I didnt realise POTC 2 is out or due to come out any time soon. Can someone fill me on the status of POTC 2 and 3.
