well, we could get something better than soggy barbossa with the means we have now. apart from the REALLY non-human stuff, like his leg, arm and hand, he could start to look pretty much like the 'real' one. remember that davy jones has an absolutely MASSIVE hat. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" /> really, it's HUGE! maybe a tricorner hat could be enlarged and tilted backwards somehow. (he actually DOES have a tricorner hat, but it's tilted backwards quite a bit, so you don't really notice. if it would be straight, it would look like one of those umbrellas you can put on your head, in tent style. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" /> )
 
OI! MATE! I've been asking for the last 2 posts about WHERE to put those Dutchman files! mind givin me an 'elpin hand 'ere!?
 
Easiest solution: Wait for the Build 14 Alpha 6 version; I added her in there. Because you need to HEX edit the model to make her a seperate ship that doesn't overwrite anything.

The point is: She wouldn't disappear, she'd change ANOTHER ship to look the same. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/whistling.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":wp" border="0" alt="whistling.gif" />
 
up to you, Pieter. my point was that i didn't mind if one ship disappeared for her to take it's place. plenty of galleons there already...
 
In that case just download the file and put the texture file in the Ships folder. It would replace Petros' War Galleon.
 
would it be randomly encounterable but not buyable? would be rather stupid to see the flying dutchman under the french flag. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":facepalm" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" /> that would be a very dark hour indeed. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/piratesing.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shock" border="0" alt="piratesing.gif" /> until i blasted the bajeezus out of it, of course. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />
 
i can make it buyable but not encounterable, and maybe even make it the final boss ship instead of the BP, if i knew what file it was defined in. oh, and thanks Pieter <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/jackhat.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":j2" border="0" alt="jackhat.gif" /> ...sorry for annoying the hell outta ya <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />
 
naaaaah. otherwise i would have to buy the black pearl. i think that would be MUCH more fun to fight it with the black pearl, though. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sailr.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":sail" border="0" alt="sailr.gif" /> what i would like most, is to see it in an extention of the main quest. like davy jones being mad at you for stealing the ghost ship, or something like that. or maybe davy jones coming for the crew of the pearl, and mistaking you and your crew for them instead.
