@Pieter: that would be great, except for one thing: we're constantly coming up with new ideas and new mods are always being made, so by the time they release the game, 2 more Build mod versions will have come out!

it is the result of a screwed up music download, which was supposed to be the end credits from the first movie. it had a qoute at the beginning, and the download stopped just after the qoute. it is absolutley PERFECT to put in the game! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/w00t.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":woot" border="0" alt="w00t.gif" />

note: you might want to cut a second or two off the end if you can.

i think it would be best to put it in when you go into 3D sailing mode from an island or something like that. the sentence before that shouldn't be removed in my opinion. not that anyone would want to. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />
 
well, it would make a change from that stock-game soundtrack. and it would be certainly easier to put in. but i think it would be better when starting a voyage. however, the first lines indeed make it better to put at the end of a storm.
 
ok.....i dont know how to do it at the start of a Voyage....but i know how to put it at the end of a storm...
but i cant get rid of the music...i can cut things out, but the music is playing while he's givving commands, so i cant actually do anything...
 
ok. try downloading it a second time after removing it completely, or at least as good as you can. (some files have a security code in it so you can't remove them, but these often, strangely enough, don't include the timelimit)
 
i've already tried...best not to derail topics now...let's just say that when i know how to fix the problem, i'll do the sounds and upload them

the attached file in my post from january 10 at 10:52 AM. it would be good to use at the end of a storm. it does need to be converted into ogg, and the volume needs to be tuned up because it's turned down after conversion.

don't worry about that, nelson said he'd do it when he can. you only have to put the soundtrack into the build in the right place with the right name.
 
ok, i've made 2 of them. End_Storm2, is the one i understand from your request, with the last bit of silence removed, and only Jack's commands and the quote in the clip. End_Storm, is just the quote, without the orders. im uploading it onto the FTP in the folder "Lord Nelson's Modding Chest". in there, i'll put sounds, along with anything else i mod, that i think someone might like....including overpowered gunboats and super fast MOWs if anyone asks for it <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> . im the one who makes the incredibly inaccurate mods <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> ...if they're easy enough <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" /> .

anyway, if there's anything else you guys need, let me know. starting from the 22nd, i have a 15 day long holiday...so im gonna be rather bored...since my site is only active at night for me...
