Pirates `Hide-out` mission

When the guy in Redmond tells you to go to a pirate hideout, Where is it?

Pirates hideout is the Island of Quebradas Costillas. It is South of Greenford or East of Douwesen depending on which island you are knowledgable of. Hope this helps.

After searching the forum for two hours I finally found this post. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/bookish.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":mm" border="0" alt="bookish.gif" />

Everyone says "When you go to to the pirate isle, make sure you don't have an officer".

The governor says "Go to the Pirate Isle and find so-and so."

It's not anyone here's fault, but I wish the quest log, and the governor, and everyone would say "Go to Quebradas Costillas: The Pirate Isle"

I've been poking around the Turk Isles, Antigua, Khael Roa, Douwesen, and that little island off Isla Muelle, attacking forts ('cause my pirate faction is over (under?) -100) and tearing up jungles looking for what is otherwise known as Pirate Island.

All this dialog was written for the originak game, in which Quebradas Costillas was the only pirate. However, with the addition of the new islands, we now also have Tortuga, which is a MAIN pirate island and Turks. Douwesen is a Dutch island, not a pirate one. I think we need to rewrite parts of all dialogs to make it clearer which pirate island is meant.

One thing to keep in mind for now: The main quest does not take place on ANY of the newly added islands. So if you're ever in doubt again as to where to go, skip the new islands. You can easily distiguish between the two: The old islands have unrealistic names (Douwesen, Quebradas Costillas, Redmond, Oxbay, Isla Muelle and Conceicao) and the new islands have the names of real Caribbean islands (Guadeloupe, Antigua, Hispaniola, Tortuga, Cayman, Cuba, Saint Martin and Tuks).
