What storyline are you playing? I do not recall any Captain Petros.

Ok

You must be playing the Mings - Brotherhood story - Mings has asked you to take Lt Peter Willemoes to meet Capt. Petros on Guadeloupe.
You have sailed to Guadeloupe & talked to Jack Rackham in Pointe a Pitre Tavern .
Jack Rackham tells you to sail to Anse Casse-Bois on other side of Guadeloupe and from there go through jungle to Petros' Plantation.

When you go ashore at Anse Casse-Bois Mr Gibbs talks to you - There are 2 choices in the dialog.

1 - you tell Gibbs to stay with ship

2 - you tell gibbs to come inland with you.

You have choosen No 1. - ( Petros is not at his plantation - just a shopkeeper in the house as easter egg joke ) - you need to go to the small house in the section of jungle before you get to the section of jungle with the plantation in it. When you try and enter the small house's door you will be reloaded to Prison ( you have been captured ) Captain Dhow will talk to you and explain things - the story will continue OK & you meet Petros later.


If you want to meet Petros in the Plantation choose 2 above - nothing will happen if you approach the small house in the jungle and you can go to the main Plantation house. Petros and some others should be there. Petros will talk to you and the story continues.

These are just 2 different paths in the story. If you really want to meet Petros in the Plantation ( and do the task he gives you ) then you have to go back to a SAVE before you landed at Anse Casse-Bois & Mr Gibbs talked to you. and choose no. 2.

There used to be - but the site has gone down

I will be trying to put the Jack Sparrow walk through onto the wiki over the next few days, but it might take a while to sort out.

Then the only thing you can do is to go back to a SAVE before you arrived to Anse Casse-Bois and try again. It can sometimes be a bit tempremental
