Solved Personal Army?

When i was customizing my character (In the new game section) i ran into a model you can be and the description was Private army soldier (or something of the sort). I was wondering if you can get a private/personal army or if it maybe could be added in a later build? :D
 
What do you mean by "private/personal army" ? The characters are based on how people look back in the day. The game is somewhat period related/specific.
 
What i mean is when i click new game>tales of sea hawk>edit character model>There is a model called Personal soldier and i was wondering where they fit in this game.
 
The characters fit on the era of the storyline.
But I don't know if they somehow modified the Character Selection on every storyline so that only the characters related to the era of the storyline can be selected.

I don't entirely get you but of course if you want to serve a certain nation, you select a navy officer/soldier. If you want to be a pirate/tomb raider, you select w/c character suits best. Am I getting somewhere here? :p
 
I think so. But when i seen the private soldier it sparked an idea that if you captured a fort and claimed it for yourself would guards be there? (ex. You are working for the british and you take a French town then put it under British control, British guards are guarding the place.) So my idea was to make your personal flag a nation sort of.(for free roam and stuff) :cheers
 
If you captured an island/town for your own. Then of course you'll have your personal soldiers and guards roaming around your town. And a lot more :onya

But thats the thing when you capture a fort it offers you 2 options Demand gold, or put new government in charge. And in the put new government option you are not listed. So im not sure if its just me or what.
 
Of course you are..IF you have TWO qualified officers as your Governor and Fort Commander. So if you don't have any officers, you won't be in the list.
So start recruiting officers now and capture towns. ;)
 
Methinks the personal officer was a description of one of the King's personal guards, like the Three Musketeers.
 
That character model you refer to is the stock game French soldier that is now used for your personal soldiers instead.
DavyJack is correct: They're used when you capture a town for yourself, but you can't do so unless you have the officers to assign as governor and/or fort commander.
