Officers Salary

When reading the build info it says that the base salary of a hired officers is 1/5 of the bonus sign on. So does that mean that if you hire one for say 1000 that the monthly is 1000 divided by 5 = 200? Is there anything else that goes into this? Not sure if difficulty plays a part but for this example use the lowest to difficulty. I found in a file someplace that Ironwill now is used to calc the hirecrew cost but couldn't see if it played a part in hired officers.
