no sound in b14 a9.5 patch1

ahoy all (i didnt post for a while but i regulary always read the news, but i didnt logged)

i installed build 13 final + build 14 alpha 9 full + alpha 9.5 + patch 1

the game work nearly perfect ! (exept the bug that i see it was already said [anamist quest and main quest "new horizon" when we attack the fort]) but thats not my prob at the moment

BUT i never have one sound during all the game ! (all other build i installed have the sounds ! [the others are in my "signature"] )

why i dont have ?

Very good question. Did you make sure the volumes in the Options menu are not at 0?

when i restart the game the sounds are always at 50%

yeah i never had that before <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" />

i always play with all my musics in windows media player (put all my pirate music i have and know lol) and have the sounds in game

its the first time i play with only the musics, the sounds dont work i tested the music too its same, first time it happend to me :/

i saw no error in the sounds files

I also use Windows Media Player in the background and that indeed works fine.
Maybe reinstall? Or wait for the next patch and then reinstall? There's no reason why it should be doing that.
The sounds in your other installations still work? What if you remove the "options" file, then restart the game?

if i remove the option file it doesnt change anything

sounds in other build work perfect

i precise that i have only the sound when i start, and when im at the main menu, its gone

perhaps reinstall will correct that, i will reinstall when i will have time (im in french exam (BAC))

TRIED, that was only an idiot thing lol

the "config.exe" need to stay with *default settings* the sound go off if i change 1 thing in (i changed "heard sound far")
