New build

I see you guys have been hard at work with a new build released yesterday! Exciting!

This thread is mainly just for precaution. Once I know this time, I guess I'll never ask again!

1) When installing the new build, do I just extract straight ontop of the old build folder? I ask this because I've modified some files myself (e.g. The residences not locking at night), so will I need to re-mod this after I install the new build?

2) Is a new game required for it to take effect?

Unbelievably I'm still trying to get my head around all the work you've all done! There's so much of it. I've JUST found out about little cheats that I had no idea existed! Thank you for putting up with me...

First, save all of your changes someplace safe. Then install the mod and make sure it works ok for you, then merge your files back in.
Ayup! New game is required.

1. Use http://winmerge.org/downloads/ to see the differences between your changes and the Beta 2.5 files.
That should be a great help so you don't have to do it all manually.
