If you ever saw potc 1 you know when the pearl is chasing the interceptor
they give order to lower the starboard anchor
maby if we can set this option as an ability wouldn't it be great??
specially when you getting chased you give it a quik turn and BOOM you blast the ship full of holes
i know its already possible to make a 180° turn but what about a 60° turn??

ok ok i'll try to mod this myself but i need to know where i can find the code of the ability of 180° turn so i can learn how to creat this mod

I dunno, proper sailing. I mean, Why? Think about it: sailing from your PC, warm and dry with beer and munchies within armsreach reach...OR...stuck on a boat freezing cold and wet hoping not to have to try out your swimming skills.

LOL. I personally like sails. But unfortunately most large ships these days have engines, so I'll need to live with sailing on ships with engines. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />

:p yea i wish there still where frigates sailing or MOW's wouldn't it be cool also better for the world
 
Definately better for the enviroment, although we'd be cutting down more trees.....and probably growing more to.Tricky to judge. Rope makers would be happy for sure <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

i think that we should have the ability to drop one of the anchors, and have the ship do a sudden 90° turn to one side, to fire at the enemy. my addition to this idea would be to give the hull a bit of damage in the process. remember the hull around the anchor rope? it splintered the wood around it. maybe we could duplicate that by causing a slight drop in HP when the skill is activated.
 
indeed i was thinking to do that once i tried to understand the bloody code if el rapido read this can you help me please
 
El Rapido hasn't been around for many months. He told me he's waaay too busy to do other things.

Great ideas!!! there should be a little delay too, and there should be all manner of creaks, groans and them unnatural noises.
