Zareth_PL is really doing some great work, and those two models might be improved again, we should have some news in a few days ^^
 
I've just had a look (in the GM Viewer) at the Boussole and Surprise from ZarethPL's "for Seb" folder; are those the beep-corrected versions?
Anyway, the new detail looks good on them! I just wish something could be done about the deck texturing; the detail of that is just too low. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />

About the texture, thanks a lot Zareth, i got a huge problem yesterday with my computer, i lost all my datas, i had to reinstall my OS from scratch, so, i'll be unable to do anything for a while... <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />

Thx a lot, i already got back the control of my computah', yesterday i was keeping booting/rebooting without a stop ^^ i tried what i could but it cost me 5 years of datas, so this time i took the opportunity to make partitions on my HD <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> i don't want to lose anything anymore >__<'''
 
Holy crap! You can't do a data restore? I lost a LOT of my data once too; that is NOT funny! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/modding.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":modding" border="0" alt="modding.gif" />
 
In fact my computer used a secret partition on the HD with the restore system, so i couldn't get my datas back this way, and, as all was lost, i made my own partitions, so, this will not happend again, system and personal files will be separate
 
I actually bought a 1TB external HD from amazon (Western Digital) Consider something like that in case something else goes wrong in the future.
 
Thomas the Terror made a new deck texture, which makes the wheels on the Boussole and HMS Surprise look a lot better. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/w00t.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":woot" border="0" alt="w00t.gif" />
 
Could you possibly upload La Licorne's deck texture? That doesn't seem to be included in your files. I changed it to desk.tga for the time being.
BTW: How do you like the following description for Fracois de Hadoque's model?

I set La Licorne and Francois de Hadoque to be unavailable by default; I'm hoping they'll be used in a quest at some point.
 
I got some external drives, that permited me to save some of my most precious files, but unfortunately, due to bad circumstances my POTC wasn't on it at the moment of the crash... So, at the moment i've lost the actual Licorne texture, but i look into some downloads I did again those last days if it is not in it, in that case, the arabella texture will fit...
About Hadoque's descriptions it seems to fit perfectly to the character <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

I'd like to end with good news, from Zareth_PL, the Surprise and her sister ship are getting nicer everiday, just look at that! :

Well, Zareth_PL answered my ask for help about the conversion and he suggested to rework the rigging, what he made brilliantly, and then, I proposed him something I had in mind for a longtime, a little rework on that ship's stern, and here we are! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

The wheel texture probably doesn't need to be redone; it looks much better with Thomas' modified deck texture files in Build 14 Alpha 9.5 Patch 1.
 
I'm not able to check that yet, i'll manage to reinstall POTC as quickly as i can <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
