Ladders

Can one climb ladders? I have tried everything. I found a cave in Oxbay and a little inside is a ladder and you can see up and out the top. How do i climb the ladder?

I have Build 11 and can't get 12 due to slow connection at home and ISA server at work (can't get the installer to access the net).

Darnit, no you can't climb the ladders, at least not physically. I think when you walk by that ladder in the cave, a unlocked icon appears which means you can exit the cave that way - but you never see the physical action of climbing a ladder.

I just asked one of the other modders (Inez) whether the physical action of the `lo-man` (the shipboard crew) climbing the rigging could be used for regular characters - to climb ladders and cliffs &tc... She didn't think so... But I always like asking stuff like that because it gets people THINKING... <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />

I asked Mad Jack to see if he could help you about that ISA server thing - but if the authentication process is on your end, I'm afraid we can't help ya there...

HOWEVER...

B12 CAN be downloaded in small chunks - it is designed that way for people who have slower connections. If you can't spend hours waiting for something to download, just set aside some time, get the installer started downloading, and if you have to stop it, you can RESUME the download later at the spot you left off.
