I've installed the base game, now what?

Hey guys, I've never played a modded game before so I don't exactly know how to install it on top of the base game.. Is there a certain file in the base game that I need to install it to, or just put it in the file with the game? I'm not incredibly computer savvy so detailed instructions would be greatly appreciated!

Start with a fresh install of PotC.

Download the latest full build mod from moddb, and install it into the same folder as your game. Make sure to run the file the computer asks to run after finishing.

After that, repeat the same steps for this patch.

Done.

Patch 7? That was well over a year ago and I for one no longer have it.

I don't think Beta 1 Patch 7 is available for download anywhere anymore; we always delete older versions to prevent confusion.
What do you need it for? We're up to Build 14 Beta 2.3 by now.
