do items such a lucky ring etc do anything? if so, is there a list of the items and what they do anywhere?

If you are playing with build 10.1 or 11 then you can find all the items availble in the game with a man looks like capt. Barbbossa in oxbay port ( after it is liberated from the french ) , but you have to be at rank 4 or above to buy items from him . <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

So started again and I can now see on the info screen the bonuses etc. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/pirate2.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p:" border="0" alt="pirate2.gif" />

Aye,although it ways tew search islands as well at beggin'n of de game,I picked up an Atwood F100 on O' best swords at Isla muelle in a backyard,which ye can,t get from merchants at beggin'n of de game <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheers" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />
 
I like they other sword ( I don't remember it name but I will check it out and post it here ) . They atwwod f100 is a very good choise too .
 
about Gregor Salmsa i just went back to him and i remember him have a better selection than what he has now, but he had only one bos'n choice and it was worn i think and that was it as far as added weapons. will he change his invintory every time i visit him meaning just luck or unluck, or is there an underlying factor therein? just curious i suppose since i will eventually acquire my weapon of choice
 
No, Devildog, Build 11 corrected what was actually an inadvertent condition of Salmsa. He no longer has all those items. I believe there is a way to change that, but I can't recall how.

aye,der be more swords but some of dem be slightly worn ur well used,but ye can find better swords by search'n de islands an' dey be free <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheers" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />
 
Am not quite sure about the name ( I didn't play the game recentlly , am busy with exams ) but I will check it sooner or later .... in fact am deeply missing the sea battles with pirates and french .
