Issues with swordplay

Just started polaying this game over the weekend and am using the latest version of the combined mod. Now My biggest gripe here is swordplay. The basic tutorial goes on about how you use feints and whatnot depending on the type of attack you are suffering, however I cannot for the life of me do anything other than my basic block? I try pressing the block key and then pressing the middle or right mouse button yet still a basic block, ive tried all other things but still just a block.

Was this feature not implemented or am I missing something?

well, while the block is basic, pressing the 'shift' key while pressing your mouse buttons will produce different results, whihc include fients

When I installed the Mod i had some control problems. If holding the left shift and clicking the mouse doesn't change the attack, try restoring the controls to defaults in all four tabs. Despite them saying their normal, they may not be (my controls got very, very messy after CMV 3. Hitting restore defaults fixed it).
