how to get out of ship cabin?

i can't seem to be able to get out of the cabin.I can get in but cant get out. I walked to wat looked like a door and there was no option for me to left/go out.(i tried many times)

The loan sharks had a bug it seems, everytime my money left on him and the gold+interest grows until >2 billion, the figure will appear in negative( juz like -2000,000,000 )and when i asked him back, i get nothing but 0.

So i loaded a savedgame and took out my money total 1,600,000,000. Now, here a real problem cos i dunno where to put it and dont want to lose the money if i die.i also dun want to divide it cos i wanted to wait until the expedition is 20 yrs.Now juz 7 yrs.

Yes, we know about the loan shark problem, and someone is supposed to be working on a fix.

If you want a place to store money, you can leave it onboard your ship in the cabin in the chest. Another way to save the money is to give it to Fred Bob (if you have him as a boatswain).
