How to capture a fort at build mod 14 3.3.

Hi I am trying to capture a fort but I can't. Because when I defeat the fort by taking all of cannons of it. I can not attack it againg to capture it. So how can I capture a fort ? Or can I capture a fort ? Can I capture a island and then this island will be mine ? Can I do this kind of things.

Because in stock POTC I can capture forts.

When a fort is destroyed click "enter" and a rowboat icon should be there. That tells your soldiers to land.

There should also be an icon at the top left of the screen showing a fort on fire. If this (and the rowboat icon) does not appear, you may be too far from the fort. Get in closer, either manually or with the "Sail to" icon.
