How is the game controlled?

Since I think the game is now in the near bargain bin, I may have to go pick it up today, but I have questions on how the game uses controls to operate it.

Is it much like diablo 2 where you can do most actions with your mouse, or do you needto remember a lot of hotkeys and use the WASD keys to fight etc on land and to move your ships at sea and battles and what not?

Im one of those people that like to do as much with my mouse as is possible in a game, even if it means bring up choices of actions with my right or middle mouse button.

So how are the different parts of the game controlled?

Thanks, I ended up picking it up at eb, since it was a preowned title, and at 9.99 then minus the 75% discount on used titles, made the game just $2.69 so I figured I'd give it a shot since thats even less than a cup of coffee at starbucks.
