Hoist the colours story

Good evening, I’ve recently started the Hoist the colours campaign, and i have a few questions.
Are there different starting points, different timelines? If so, if i started as young Jack, can i go through every campaign within the same load? Lastly, how can i select different jack sparrow stories?

There is only the one starting point - you're Guy Verbinski arriving at Tortuga, where you go to the tavern to hear Joshamee Gibbs' tale of Captain Jack Sparrow. That leads to the start of the story itself, with Jack's arrival at Cayman. From there, accompany Thomas the Terror to Speightstown.

There are several points in the story where you have a choice of paths. The first is when you arrive at Speightstown. For one thing, if you don't talk to Captain Bligh on the pier, the game may end very soon! After that, go to the tavern and either talk to the fat gentleman sitting at a table or the beggar sitting on the floor. That's your choice of two very different versions of the story.
